  Generally a pleasant stay. Lift access to all floors, but not all rooms. Basic rooms are exactly that with small, but functional bathrooms - access by wheelchair would be impossible. The rooms are well equipped and appear to be recently renovated. They are, however, noisy as the building is listed and cannot change the single glaze sash windows. I've concerns with the pattern of the carpet in hallways as it hides undulations and unevenness in this historic building - this may cause issues to the visually impaired. The bar is, again, small yet pleasant and has a wide range of options and the breakfast was a decent portion and very tasty.

  The hotel was immaculate and the service first class. The restaurant food for breakfast and dinner was fantastic and the table staff could not be more helpful. Afternoon tea in the garden was also a delight.
  
  Reception upgraded us to a very nice room which was very clean and comfortable.
  
  The only niggle was on departure we were given the plastic door key by reception to exit the car park but it was not accepted by the barrier, so we caused a jam trying to sort out how to exit.

  The hotel is beautiful, the staircase is a real feature unlike any other hotel I've stayed in. The decor is classic yet modern and the staff were all friendly helpful and courteous. Even down to letting us know at breakfast that the buffet items were due to be cleared away so would we like to help ourselves. Many hotels just remove it at 11am without a word and it feels like a cue to leave. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and although quite quiet the atmosphere was great.
  The location is excellent with many beautiful shops bars and restaurants right on the doorstep as well as the beautiful gardens immediately opposite the front door. Parking is easy and stress free too.

  The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding as it includes continental and a menu of made to order items. Free wifi is always nice. The location is great as it is in the center of Cheltenham. A majority of attractions and activities are within a one-mile radius. The park across the street is nice to hang out during sunny days. They renovated the hotel in 2015, hence all the modern niceties. Highly recommend the hotel and will stay there during my next visit
